Supplemental Information

The dataset is comprised of the 32 layers, which compose the bedrock geologic map and the inset map. All 32 layers are available as shape (*.shp) files. Ten additional Arc Export (*.e00) files of annotation are also available for presentational purposes. Attribute information for the 22 non-annotation layers (entities) is included in this metadata file under the "Entity_and_Attribution_Information" section. Each layer is listed and described in detail under its own heading starting at "Entity_Type_Label." Basic unit information is included in a text document, "RI2006-2_codeset.pdf."
