Supplemental Information

 >border: A polygon shapefile that provides a generalized outline of the geographic area described by this report.
 >map-package: This publication's data is contained in a MAP PACKAGE (.mpk). The map package contains a compressed ESRI map document (.mxd), and the symbolized data files that are referenced by the layers of the .mxd file, and the fonts that are required to provide the appropriate symbology. The geodatabase used in this publication is NCGMP09 and FGDC compliant and as a result requires special fonts for correct geologic feature labeling. For more information http://ncgmp.usgs.gov. YOU MUST ENSURE THE FGDC FONTS ARE INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE UNPACKING THE MAP PACKAGE! The FGDC required fonts are included in this publication's zip file. To open and unpack the map package, navigate to the map package (.mpk) double click it or drag it into ArcGIS. The map package will unpack into ArcGIS's default package location and automatically open the map document.

Metadata

Metadata is the data about the data and answers "Who, what, when, where, how and why?" about the dataset. Please see the DGGS Metadata README page for information about our metadata.
