Activity by Year

Year Activity Status Operator Project Name Description
2017 Exploration Development Project Sundance Mining Group LLC In 2017 Sundance?s exploration and development operations included completing two portals, approximately 650 feet of tunnel (10.5-feet wide by 10.5-feet high), and 350 feet of drift (10.5-feet wide by 10.5-feet high) by rubber-tired mining equipment. Additionally, 140 feet of raise and scram development was completed utilizing jackleg and slusher-type mining. Exploration work included geologic mapping of a 1,400-foot-long lateral drift.

2018 Development Development Project Sundance Mining Group LLC During 2018, Sundance completed Phase II permitting allowing for mill development, production mining, and milling. Their continued underground exploration/development program completed approximately 450 feet of rubber-tired drifting on vein, and approximately 480 feet of jackleg/slusher scram up-dip and along strike of the Humboldt vein system. Approximately 4,000 tons of initial mill feed were produced.

2019 Development Mine Sundance Mining Group LLC Mill site and mill development occurred in 2019, including retaining walls, five cement pads, mill building, and 150 TPD gravity circuit, crushing curcuit, tailing circuit, and assay lab. Underground development occurred with rubber tired and jack leg/slusher screams and raises for a total of 370 linear feet. Work was also conducted on the mine site road, tailings disposal, and surface water discharge system.
2019 Exploration Mine Sundance Mining Group LLC A total of 420 feet of underground core was drilled in 2019.
2019 Production Mine Sundance Mining Group LLC Initial production of the re-opened mine occurred in 2019.
