The Nome geophysical survey is located in western Alaska in the Nome mining district, about 825 kilometers west of Fairbanks, Alaska and just north of Nome, Alaska. Frequency domain electromagnetic and magnetic data were collected with the DIGHEMV system from August to September 1993. A total of 3856 line kilometers were collected covering 1361.02 square kilometers. Line spacing was 400 meters (m). Data were collected 30 m above the ground surface from a helicopter towed sensor platform ('bird') on a 30 m long line.
