Description:
The Alaska Geochemistry Database project is an ongoing project to compile and serve tabular geochemical data through an interactive web application. Data sources include DGGS, USGS, BLM, and BOM. Initiated in 2001, DGGS staff initially populated the database with data from scanned reports and maps. Modern geochemical data is loaded directly from laboratory spreadsheets and federal databases and serves as DGGS?s primary mechanism for housing and distributing geochemical data. The interactive web map and supporting database were redesigned in 2017.
