Chief, Mineral Resources Section
Ph.D. 2019, Oklahoma State University
M.S. 2009, University of Szeged, Hungary
My research interests center on economic geology and the mineralogical and geochemical processes that govern the formation and evolution of mineral systems. I am particularly interested in mineralization associated with sedimentary carbonate rocks and carbonate-bearing igneous systems, including the role of fluid-rock interaction and the resulting alteration in concentrating and redistributing elements. My analytical interests include fluid inclusion analysis and Raman microspectroscopy, as well as isotope geochemistry. More broadly, I am interested in integrating mineralogical, geochemical, and geologic observations to advance our understanding and assessment of mineral resources.
