Projects and/or Research Interests
Katie is working with the Volcanology Section to advance the Alaska Tephra Database to publication. She researches Alaska tephra glass and geochronology data to load into GeoDIVA, the Geologic Database of Information on Alaska Volcanoes. In addition, she compiles tephra geospatial data and time-stratigraphic data to advance current ash-fall hazard projects.
