Lisa M. Elconin

Lisa joined the GMC team in February 2025 as a Geologist 2 to assist the hyperspectral scanning project. She graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt in 2023 with a BS in Geology. She returned home to Anchorage and worked as a geologist for an environmental consulting firm before coming to the DGGS. Her interests are in igneous petrology and volcanology, and she hopes to start her master's degree in the next few years.
