Fish Creek watershed
Project Details
Project ID:

Nickname/Abbreviation:
Fish Creek
Parent Project:
Hydrology ProgramStatus:
Inactive
Description:
This NSF funded study is investigating and modeling the effects of climate change on the hydrology of this North Slope watershed. We found that snow melt is the major annual hydrological event that tends to reset the hydrology each year. Summer conditions can however make a difference from year to year in fish migration. This study is part of a larger collaborative project with BLM, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, USGS and UAF. See http://www.fishcreekwatershed.org/
