An overview of Geophysical Report (GPR) publication data products available to help users identify the data they need.
Survey area, flight lines, acquisition lines, station locations, gridded data, interpretation and other data with a variety of base data including topography, towns, Public Land Survey System, and other pertinent geographic information.
Actual recorded and processed data in industry standard ASCII and database format. Data packages with these data include but are not limited to ascii_data, databases_geosoft, and seismic data deliverables.
Gridded line or point data. These data are available in common data value grid formats and/or as RGB registered images. Data packages with these data include but are not limited to grids_geosoft, grids_ermapper, or images_registered.
Gridded data, interpretation and other data can be in this format. Data packages with these data include but are not limited to images_registered.
Keyhole markup language KMZ archive files.
Models created from recorded data. Most DGGS models are created through a process called inversion. These may be 1D, 2D, or 3D data. Look for data packages with 'model' in the name.
Photos of survey equipment, stations, or continuous downward looking photos along data collection path from an airborne survey. Often these photos will be georeferenced. Look for data packages with "photo" in the name.
Video of survey equipment, stations, or continuous downward looking video along data collection path from an airborne survey. Often these video will have a time and location on the frame or other referencing information. Look for data packages with "video" in the name.
These data packages are specifically intended for the general public and do not require specialized software. These data packages often contain instructions and derivative products that can be used for interpretation of the subsurface. Look for data packages with 'outreach' in the name.
